Frozen Blueberries – It’s Crunch Time!

Full Definition of crunch time : a critical moment or period (as near the end of a game [or blueberry season]) when decisive action is needed.

Pick up times for frozen blueberries the coming week are as follows:

– Monday and Tuesday, August 29-30, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

– Wednesday, August 31, 8 a.m. to noon

– Thursday and Friday, September 1 and 2, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you were one of our customers this season, please read on, because the rest of this message is for you.  Jimmy and I are back to our regular jobs and normal routines.  After what felt like a very long week, we were talking last night about the number of cranky, rude, and inconsiderate people we had dealt with and encountered.  These people wear on our hearts and minds.  The very bright spot in that conversation was the realization that not one of them was you!  This month we have seen nearly 600 customers, e-mailed with you, met you at the barn porch.  Every single one of you this season has been an absolute delight, and I want to say THANK YOU!  Thank you for your smiles, your notes of encouragement, your patience when I’ve made a mistake with your order, our quick (and sometimes wonderfully long) visits, and your enthusiastic “see you next year!”  After this week, I am reminded how much I appreciate every single one of you.  THANK YOU!!
