{"id":939,"date":"2016-11-10T20:58:25","date_gmt":"2016-11-10T20:58:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8080\/?p=939"},"modified":"2016-11-10T20:58:25","modified_gmt":"2016-11-10T20:58:25","slug":"index-html","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wildblueberries.me\/alexanders\/index-html\/","title":{"rendered":"Wild Blueberry Banana Bread"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This wild blueberry banana bread is a wonderful variation of the traditional banana bread. \u00a0It has the added nutrition of 1 1\/2 cups of wild Maine blueberries, and it&#8217;s moist and delicious!<br \/>\nPreheat the oven to 350 degrees.<\/p>\n<p>Lightly grease with butter a loaf pan (9x5x3) and lightly flour<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients<\/span><\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 cups all-purpose flour (I prefer King Arthur&#8217;s unbleached)<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon baking soda<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 teaspoon baking powder<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup brown sugar<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup oil (I prefer olive oil)<\/p>\n<p>2 large eggs, beaten<\/p>\n<p>2 teaspoons vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>2 ripe banas, peeled and mashed<\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 cups fresh or frozen wild Maine blueberries (lightly floured)<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Directions<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In a medium bowl sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.<\/p>\n<p>In a large bowl beat the sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla until blended. \u00a0Stir in the bananas.<\/p>\n<p>Add the dry ingredients and stir until blended.<\/p>\n<p>Fold in floured blueberries.<\/p>\n<p>Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. \u00a0Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center removes clean.<\/p>\n<p>Cool in pan for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.<\/p>\n<p>Eat warm or completely cooled. \u00a0Delicious!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This wild blueberry banana bread is a wonderful variation of the traditional banana bread. \u00a0It has the added nutrition of 1 1\/2 cups of wild Maine blueberries, and it&#8217;s moist and delicious!
