{"id":984,"date":"2017-03-31T14:50:14","date_gmt":"2017-03-31T14:50:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alexanders-blueberries.frozen-tail.linkswebhosting.com\/?p=984"},"modified":"2017-03-31T14:50:14","modified_gmt":"2017-03-31T14:50:14","slug":"wild-blueberry-oatmeal-bread","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wildblueberries.me\/alexanders\/wild-blueberry-oatmeal-bread\/","title":{"rendered":"Wild Blueberry Oatmeal Bread"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This wild blueberry oatmeal bread is hearty,\u00a0not sweet or lemony like most blueberry breads.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Greek yogurt, oatmeal, and wild blueberries give this bread a nutritional thumbs up.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Preheat oven to 375\u00a0degrees<\/p>\n<p>Lightly butter and dust a 9 x 5 loaf pan<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS:<br \/>\n2 cups flour<br \/>\n1\/2 cup oats<br \/>\n2 tsp baking powder<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 cup Greek yogurt<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\n3\/4 cups brown sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 cup melted butter<br \/>\n1 tsp vanilla<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups frozen wild blueberries coated with 1 Tblsp flour<br \/>\n&#8212;-<br \/>\nIn a mixing bowl combine flour, oats, baking powder, salt. \u00a0Set aside<\/p>\n<p>Beat yogurt, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla. \u00a0Add flour mixture and mix (stand mixer works well). \u00a0This will be a thick and sticky batter.<\/p>\n<p>Coat frozen blueberries with 1 Tblsp flour and quickly fold into\u00a0batter with sturdy mixing spoon.<\/p>\n<p>Pour (okay . . maybe it&#8217;s more like &#8220;drop&#8221;)\u00a0batter into greased and floured loaf pan;\u00a0spread\u00a0evenly.<\/p>\n<p>Bake 75-90\u00a0minutes;\u00a0test with\u00a0toothpick or knife inserted in center.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy it right from the oven or toasted\u00a0with a piping hot cup of your favorite beverage.<\/p>\n<p>Tip: Leftovers make great toast with breakfast. \u00a0Enjoy!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This wild blueberry oatmeal bread is hearty,\u00a0not sweet or lemony like most blueberry breads.
