The space
The Mary Adeline Cabin is one of two rustic cabins nestled in the woods looking out onto the farm. The cabin has two full-size beds, a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, and a front porch for those quiet nights sipping wine or early mornings drinking coffee. The cabin also has it’s own outdoor space with a campfire pit and picnic table. Pets are welcomed. If the Mary Adeline Cabin is booked, please check out our Elva P. Cabin at Welch Farm.
Guest access
Guests have access to the farm’s back fields, walking trails, scenic picnic area on top of Blueberry Hill overlooking the majestic view of the Atlantic Ocean (a walk but the view is well worth it), the farm’s private rocky beach and shore front. Guests can pick wild blueberries (in season) and enjoy them for breakfast or dessert.
Other things to note
Welch Farm has been family owned since 1912. We are a working lowbush (wild) blueberry farm. We are busiest late summer during our berry harvest. We still harvesting some of the fields just the way our Grandparents did, by hand with a blueberry rake. During the summer, we also offer public farm tours, where visitors can learn about this tiny, flavorful, nutrient-packed fruit indigenous to Maine.
