how our small town fESTIVAL BEGAN

2016 A grass-roots committee brought back Gray’s annual summer festival. Rebranded the following year as ‘Gray Wild Blueberry Festival’ in honor of wild blueberry barrens/ farms located in Gray and surrounding towns – where youngsters once hand-picked wild Maine blueberries as their summer job. And, we  began partnering with Wild Blueberry Commission of Maine!

2026 We’re celebrating our 10th year ! If you’ve attended our annual Gray Wild Blueberry Festival more than once, you’ll notice we try to outdo ourselves every year to make YOUR festival going experience better each year!
